Thank you so much Rie-san! I had not read in Japanese in so long, and I forgot a lot of kanji readings. I felt embarassed in the beginning, but you made me feel comfortable trying. Excited for a new challange next time!!

Rie's lessons are perfect for nervous learners who could use some encouragement! I book conversations with her, and we spend the time talking - she's happy to provide topics, ask questions, and keep the conversation going so it never feels awkward. It's a great way to practice with a native speaker and gain more confidence.

Rie is a wonderful teacher. Her use of Minna no Nihongo was very effective, and she created a comfortable atmosphere while still challenging me in a good way. I really enjoyed the lesson and look forward to learning with her again.
