Hello! It's been 2 years teaching Spanish on italki now. So far I've had a great experience and I've had incredible students. Would you join them?
I'm a translator and linguist. I speak English, Portuguese and Spanish fluently. I'm passionate about literature and arts. My main hobbies are reading and writing, specially poetry and fiction. And I'm currently learning Italian, German and Quechua!
Besides that, I'm a podcaster, an amateur photographer, and I enjoy hiking, painting, baking, and playing videogames. And I started editing, illustrating and publishing books on 2024, it's my new thing now! I could say I like both indoor and outdoor activities.Che tipo di insegnante sono
- A relaxed atmosphere is an essential part of any lesson. Even for grammar lessons, I always try to make things simpler.
- I totally love when the student asks lots of questions about Spanish, it enriches the lesson! Showing dedication and interest for a language is key to connect with natives and makes social interactions more rewarding.
-There's always room for mistakes and perfection, that means I'll be there supporting you whenever you conjugate an irregular verb in the subjunctive perfectly or horribly!

- I'd suggest we use Skype for our lessons, it's the best communication tool in my experience.
- Games are a good way to practice what we learn, so I may include some simple games to guide you during our lesson.
- I can offer personalized materials for you to learn about topics you like, mainly documents about grammar with examples, or vocabulary lists and quizzes.
At the end, if you wish, I could give you feedback on grammar or pronunciation mistakes made during our conversation, as well as pointing out what you are great at!

I had to opportunity to compare those variations to my own dialect, Peruvian, and I learnt how to differentiate the subtleties of the language.

Sempre é um prazer conversar com Pablo: as conversas são leves e divertidas, não vemos o tempo passar. Sempre que tenho alguma dúvida de vocabulário ou de alguma expressão Pablo rapidamente tira essa dúvida. Afirmo mais uma vez para quem fala português: faça aula com Pablo porque ele conhece muito bem a nossa língua e isso é fundamental para que um professor nos ajude a evoluir no nosso aprendizado.

Pablo is THE teacher if you want to improve your grammar or take it to the next level. He's great at explaining nuance in a way that's easy to understand & remember. He's really knowledgeable & goes into great detail and the classes are fun :)

Excellent first lesson!It was a very relaxing and engaging atmosphere to work on my spanish in a fun way. For someone with a high level of spanish looking to improve my usage and understanding of subtle meanings behind words and phrases, it's very helpful to have a teacher as invested and passionate for the language as Pablo. Highly highly recommend!
