I’ve been working as an online Spanish and Catalan tutor for several years, and I’ve taught over 4,600 lessons on italki, helping students of all levels and ages achieve great results.
My Spanish pronunciation is neutral, and the same goes for my Catalan, which makes it easier for you to understand and learn.
While I was at university, I started volunteering with NGOs, teaching Spanish and Catalan to people who had recently arrived in Spain. I also helped them understand the local culture and way of life.
That’s when I realised teaching isn’t just something I do — it’s something I truly enjoy. I especially love seeing my students gain confidence and start expressing themselves naturally. Le mie lezioni e il mio metodo di insegnamento
In informal lessons, we focus on improving your conversational skills. You can choose a topic — anything from recent events to your favourite subjects — or leave it up to me.
We can also use this time to work on your questions or doubts, and even do mock conversations or role-plays based on real-life situations (work, travel, university, etc.).
For more structured lessons, everything is tailored to your needs and goals. I prepare materials in advance, and if you have time and feel like it, I can also give you some homework.

Carol speaks openly and is willing to have an open discussion on controversial topics. I love it! It is a great way to pass the time! I highly recommend talking to her!
