Hi! Nice to meet you. I'm a college professor who loves talking, teaching, and meeting new people around the world. My passion for tutoring lead me to this beautiful corner on the internet where I can share my knowledge and experiences with people that are just as excited to learn about a new way of communicating and opening up to others as I am with other languages, like German, French, Portuguese, etc.

I enjoy conversation-based lessons, aka, I'm a certified yapper, but I also deeply value structure, grammar, and vocabulary building. I like to integrate both approaches by talking about interesting topics and, through practice, reviewing grammar and vocabulary in a more intentional way. That way, learning feels natural but still purposeful.
That said, if you prefer a more structured and traditional class, I’m totally happy to do that too. Depending on your needs, we can work through exercises and readings from well-known institutional books. Le mie lezioni e il mio metodo di insegnamento
There are many ways to procede in our language class, and the method we end up using for your learning will depend on your preferences and needs as a student. From corrections and
rephrasing while introducing new words and curious ways of saying things in a dialogue, to going over guides and books from different academies with specific structures that we'll adapt to your level of expertise and interests.
As far as the homework goes, spaced repetition is the most effective way to learn and keep the knowledge in your long-term memory (proven by science), so there will be exercises that specifically train your brain so that what we learn in class, you do not forget over time.Il mio materiale didattico

Classes have been awesome. We have covered a range of topics from art by the Old Masters to literature like Borges and also more light hearted stuff like games and jokes. She helped me write the beginning of a fantasy story in Spanish and the that was a fun way to practice writing. Kiara notices details and is helping me improve in the areas that need improvement. We're working on test taking at the moment and that is also a good experience to increase comprehension speed. I recommend classes with her. Gracias!
