Hi! I’m from Oslo, Norway, and I help students learn Norwegian. I have a teaching degree from the University of Oslo and a TEFL certificate. I’ve taught for years in classrooms and online, working with both children and adults. I speak English fluently and have a good working knowledge of Spanish. In our lessons we can use a variety of online tools that I have access to make lessons engaging and effective, or just have a conversation. I tailor lessons to your goals, so whether you want relaxed conversation or structured learning with grammar and exercises, my focus is to create a friendly & supportive space where you feel comfortable, build confidence, and learn through making mistakes. I’ve been teaching for many years, both in the classroom and online—on italki, in private lessons, and in group sessions. I’ve worked with everyone from young children to adults, and I love adapting my lessons to suit each learner. Teaching is something I truly enjoy, and I find it incredibly rewarding. I always aim to make my lessons fun and engaging, and I focus on building a good connection with my students. Wholeheartedly recommend! Very attentive teacher, focused and adaptable to your individual needs and way of learning. Also a nice person to talk to, so an hour flew by! Overall, very productive first lesson, where we made a plan on how to proceed. Looking forward to the next one!
