Hello, my name is Emma.
I am a native English speaker and have lived in England all of my life.
I have been a trainer and mentor in previous work places so appreciate the need for patience and interest when teaching others, and language is no different! I encourage all wishing to learn or brush up on English skills.
My interests include hiking, art, video games and photography.
I'm excited to learn about your interests and culture too. I find culture is the nicest way to learn about others, and yourself!Che tipo di insegnante sono
I wanted to teach English on iTalki because I know how challenging it can be to learn something new so I look forward to being able to help other's on their journey with the English Language.
I feel the best way to retain information is by having fun, so my lessons will be relaxed and always at your own pace.
Generally my lessons will be to practice conversation and pronunciation or working from activity sheets.
> Please note - unfortunately, I do not provide lessons for students under 18 years old.

Lessons can be conversation practice with comments and suggestions at the end, or we can use activity sheets if you prefer.
We can practice English skills for all occasions, e.g. family events, travel, business, or interviews. Or we can focus on a spectic topic to expand your vocabulary. We will work slowly to improve your confidence as we go. I can also help with written English and structure
For the more advanced, I can teach you interesting idioms and cultural quirks.
If there is anything specific you would like to practice then please just ask!

A fantastic lesson! it's always a pleasure to talk to Emma. She helps me deal with different topics without difficulty and in this way I always learn new words effortlessly. I can't wait for the next lesson!
