Hello my name is Efthymia, currently living in Thessaloniki, Greece, where i have been working for 5 years as a greek language teacher. Both my bachelor and master degrees are related to education and additionally i’m specialized certified in teaching greek as a second/foreign language. I have voluntarily and professionally taught greek in both formal and informal environments. I have teached refugees and migrants, adults and children while working in an NGO for two years. I aim to make my lessons both enjoyable and effective. It's important to me that the students feel comfortable expressing themselves and that they are part of a supportive classroom environment. I use a blended approach to teaching, with a strong emphasis on the communicative method. This means we work with authentic materials—such as signs, instructions, articles, and advertisements—and focus on producing language that is practical and relevant to real-life situations. I recommend following a textbook to ensure a structured and consistent learning experience, while also providing additional resources from various sources, including my own materials. Videos, dialogues, images, and short quizzes are integral parts of my lessons. If the student prefers, I also assign optional homework for extra practice.Il mio materiale didattico
