¡Josué es el mejor! Josué is a warm and kind teacher who always initiates great conversations, and asks questions to his students out of genuine curiosity. He creates a word bank after every lesson which is a great resource if you forget words and helps increase your vocabulary. I feel way more confident in my Spanish which has improved so much thanks to Josué.

Thank you a million for every hour you spend teaching me Spanish. When I first started taking lessons with you, I was at high A1 level and when I just took a test I was level B1!! I had a great first lesson with Josué! He was very friendly, smart, and constructively helped with errors, and offered different ways to say things. He is a very clear communicator and knows how to put the beginning student at ease. He kept the class on track and packed a lot of concepts into a 30 minute class. Most importantly, he got me excited about continuing my language journey.

Josue is an exceptional Spanish teacher. During each of of our classes, I have found him to be thoughtful, attentive, and he also has a great sense of when to correct me or introduce a new concept without interrupting the natural flow of conversation. I especially appreciate how organized he is. During each lesson, he keeps track of the grammar, vocabulary, and concepts we cover, then spends the last few minutes reviewing them with me. It’s a simple approach, but it makes a big difference in helping me retain what I’ve learned during each session. Josue is also genuinely kind and easy to talk to. I never feel intimidated or self-conscious about making mistakes. Instead, his encouragement motivates me to keep improving and reminds me why I’m learning Spanish in the first place: to communicate with others and better understand the culture.

I really appreciate that Josue uses our limited time for conversation. I feel this is what I need after daily studying. He is great about correcting my errors and makes suggestions for homework based on them. He is always happy and engaged. He makes me want to keep going.
