Hi!
My name is Iginia. I am from Naples, Italy, and I live in Gothenburg, Sweden.
In Naples I took my bachelor’s degree in foreign languages and literatures, with a focus on German and Swedish. During my bachelor I lived in Berlin as an exchange student for one year and after that I moved to Sweden where I took a master’s degree and a PhD in German contemporary literature.
Besides my interest in languages, I love reading, studying, watching movies, and travelling. I have many other interests, like painting, knitting and crocheting. I love interacting with others and learning about different cultures.Che tipo di insegnante sono
I began teaching Italian as a native speaking teacher in 2012. During the years I focused more on teaching German literature and language at university, I worked as high school teacher in German and Swedish as a second language and I took different training courses concerning language teaching, pedagogy and didactic.
I see myself as a very patient and understanding teacher, who likes to explain, help, and try and try again until we reach our goals. As a teacher, I always think that I have a lot to learn from my students and I see teaching as a great opportunity to meet new people, share competences, interests and experiences and learn more about the world.Le mie lezioni e il mio metodo di insegnamento
Every student has different learning styles, therefore I do my best to adapt my methods to the needs and profiles of everyone. I like to work with different types of materials: textbooks, text documents, audio and video files, homework. If you are a beginner, I like to cover topics such as family, friends, work, interests, feelings, travelling, daily activities, food, transportation. If your competences are more advanced, I usually focus more on conversations regarding topics of your own interests. I can also help with more practical stuffs like writing CV and job applications. I also love to teach, discuss, understand and analyse the language by reading novels, books, and songs text.Il mio materiale didattico

I really enjoy my Swedish lessons with Iginia. She's extremely warm and friendly and I feel quite at ease in the lessons, even when I'm absolutely slaughtering the language! She is very knowledgeable about grammar and steers me to interesting resources so I can delve deeper into a topic if I want to. I highly recommend her to anyone looking to get an introduction to Swedish or polish up their command of the language.

Iginia is a fantastic teacher, she is very patient, she makes the lessons fun and interesting. She is very knowledgeable both in the Swedish language and in the teaching method. I am thrilled with this experience.

La scelta dell'insegnante
Iginia è sempre brava a trovare nuovi argomenti interessanti con tanto di materiale. Studiare la lingua attraverso le canzone e il teatro permette anche di scoprire la cultura napoletana un po’ alla volta, da Viviani a Liberato, passando per Eduardo, Di Giacomo e Totò. Poi ho sempre delle domande e Iginia fa di tutto per rispondermi in modo chiaro. Insomma, è un’ottima professoressa e la consiglio a chiunque voglia 'mparà 'o napulitano. Grazij Igì!

N'ata bella lezione!! Iginia è sempre pronta ad affrontare qualsiasi idea, le lezioni iniziano con una bella chiacchierata e continuano sempre con degli argomenti interessanti...È sempe nu piacere pe mme!!
