Hi! I'm Rubén, an educational psychologist passionate about learning and teaching. I'm a curious, open-minded person with a wide range of interests: philosophy, personal growth, spirituality, yoga, science, reading… and above all, understanding how each person learns.

My background in psychology has given me powerful tools to support real and lasting learning. I don’t believe in rigid methods or in teachers who just follow a textbook.
I'm patient, creative, and flexible. I adapt to each student's rhythm, level, and personality, designing lessons with purpose and motivation, where you are at the center of the process.
As a language learner myself (I’m improving my English and starting to learn Italian), I know exactly what it feels like to face the challenges of learning a new language.

In my classes, you won’t find cookie-cutter methods, mindless repetition, or endless grammar explanations. You’ll find a space to practice, make mistakes, grow, and learn through real engagement.
In our first session, we’ll explore your learning style, interests, goals, and current Spanish level. From there, I’ll design a personalized plan just for you.
I use conversation as the core of each lesson, integrating games, videos, reading, listening, guided speaking, error correction, and optional homework if you like.

Rubén is a wonderful tutor for anyone who really wants to push themselves to improve their Spanish. His methods are so creative and varied, and he really cares about the progress of his students. He is a delight to work with, calm, funny, but always with purpose, and I recommend him very much! He has helped me tremendously in my Spanish-learning journey.

Rubén is a great teacher! He has a positive energy that makes every class enjoyable and motivating. I really appreciate how attentive he is, always noticing my mistakes and gives clear, constructive feedback. His explanations are simple and easy to follow and he always adapts the lessons to my level and goals. Overall, his classes are very engaging and full of good vibes. I totally recommend learning with him!

Rubén is a great teacher — very informative and encouraging. He has used lots of different methods to help me improve my fluency when speaking, and he’s genuinely a pleasure to talk to. I am taking Conversation lessons with Rubén. He is calm, thoughtful, and presents topics that make me think and expand my conversation skills while explaining my mistakes clearly. Effective, supportive. He´s an excellent Spanish teacher!
