My English teaching career started in 2015, when I taught conversational English at a language club in St. Petersburg, Russia. Afterwards, I taught English online to students from Russia, China, France, Chile, and more! Then I had a great adventure teaching multiple levels of English grammar and conversation at an American school in Vladimir, Russia. I became Head Teacher there.
My favorite part about teaching English is hearing what my students have done after finishing my classes. I’ve had students go on to get jobs in the US, start high-level university English programs, and just make new friends by using English!
I have both a TEFL 100-hour and TESOL 120-hour certification.Le mie lezioni e il mio metodo di insegnamento
My classes are for students who already have learned a bit of English, but want to take their education to the next level! My lesson plans and materials include grammar, discussion questions, interesting texts, and vocabulary exercises. If you need some writing practice, you can write a short text in your free time and we can correct it in class.
What we actually do in the class depends on what you, the student, want to work on. Maybe some days you would like to do some grammar exercises, while other days you just want to talk about life or tell me about your recent adventure. Those both sound great to me! Laurea specialistica - Russian and Eurasian StudiesThis one-year master’s degree explored Russia and the Eurasian world from the perspectives of language, literature, and culture. Aspects of the degree also dealt with politics and history. My thesis, which was awarded a high grade, dealt with alphabet reform in Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan. I graduated with the distinction "cum laude."
