I am an enthusiastic traveller and love to experience new cultures. Many people from different parts of the world like Slovak so much that they would like to learn it.
So here I am - a native Slovak with a passion for Slovak language and literature - ready to help anyone who is interested to learn it.
I write poetry and prose in Slovak and I also do language proofreading for books. Apart from travelling and writing, I like painting, singing, dancing and going into the nature.Che tipo di insegnante sono
I once taught a Finnish guy to pronounce ,,ž", ,,č", ,,ď", ,,ť", ,,š", ,,dž" :)
And of course many other basics of the Slovak language. That's how the idea of learning Slovak online was born. Since those days I have moved on in teaching this language and I am still improving. I teach complete beginners as well as highly advanced students.
As writing is my profession, I can explain grammar to you, even down to the smallest details. Of course, the lessons can take the form of a conversation on topics that interest you.

The only Slovak teacher you´ll ever need.
Fun, professional and very well prepared.
I especially liked that she could answer things related to culture. With a traveller perspective. This is the biggest value for me. She not only sees the Slovakia, but she keeps exploring other nations and therefore translate cultural differences with truly brilliant outlook. This actually helped understand Slovak phrases better.

During this lesson Monika helped me deepen my understanding of the Slovak pronunciation for words which I was very happy for as it is something that I wouldn't have been able to understand on my own. We also went through more phrases I could use in real situations and she also explained me about their social/status aspects so that I would know which one to use in the right situation.
Monika was actively encouraging me and also correcting me when I said something wrong which was very helpful to me. I'm already looking forward to my next lesson. Ďakujem Monika : )
