Just had my first crosstalk lesson with Jonathan. He's very friendly and a fantastic crosstalk partner. He speaks at a pace that is good for me as a beginner and is clear to understand. Good choice if you're looking for crosstalk partners!

A nice chat where I brought up a handful of topics for discussion - ranging from current events, to boardgames, to holiday plans. I enjoy our chats very much, and Jonathan remains a patient listener, and engaged teacher - he has a real skill at understanding what I am trying to convey, then rephrasing it back to me with questions in a simpler way. This helps me with corrections and pronunciation, without disrupting the flow of the conversation so the class goes by quickly and is enjoyable.

This was my first ever Crosstalk experience and Jonathan was a great introduction to the method. We had a good stress-free discussion, his audio quality was excellent, he spoke very clearly, and he was patient when I didn't catch a phrase or word that needed to be repeated or confirmed. He used a level that was suitable for me, and asked good questions to keep the conversation flowing. Thanks for the session Jonathan!

Tonight was one of those nights where my brain just could not communicate in Espanol, the words simply wouldn't come. With some teachers this might make for a long and stressful lesson - but rest assured that this was not the case with Jonathan as the tutor. He and I had a great lesson using Crosstalk, where he spoke Spanish and I responded in English. This meant that I received quality Spanish input and also heard his interesting perspective on a wide variety of topics. When he used interesting phrases or terms, he included them in the chat window so I could better understand them. Overall I really enjoyed the class, and I look forward to next week!
