Moien, I’m Lisa, a passionate language learner and tutor from a small country in the middle of Europe: Luxembourg. I've been working as a tutor for many years now and especially love helping people learn my rare mother language. I'm a very open-minded person and I think it's incredibly exciting to get to know other cultures and languages. I'm always friendly and patient with my students as I know from experience that learning a new language is a big endeavour. I therefore want to give you the right support and make your learning experience fun and dynamic. It doesn't matter whether you have just started with Luxembourgish or already know a little bit, I'll make sure to challenge you and elevate your skills to the next level. For me the focus is on communication and I want to provide you with the necessary confidence to communicate clearly in Luxembourgish. This can either be with more informal sessions based largely on speaking, or more formal sessions with additional exercises covering grammar, vocabulary and pronunciation. I’ll provide all the teaching materials for our lessons and I can even give you additional homework to support your learning process.

I am very grateful to have such a wonderful Luxembourgish teacher. She is by far the best teacher I’ve had – always patient, supportive, and incredibly knowledgeable. She gives me a lot of useful advice and helps me prepare very well for the Sproochentest.
Thanks to her guidance, I feel much more confident and motivated.

Another super lesson with Lisa. We always chat about events of the previous week and I gain new related vocabulary. Every lesson there is an interesting article to discuss, the subject is very current, and the level appropriate. Lisa makes learning Luxembourgish so interesting and so achievable. 🙏

Lisa is always very organized and friendly. I have been working with her to prepare for the sproochentest and she has developed lesson plans, starting from the basics. I like how she guides me through the lessons with a nice mix of instruction, exercises, and conversation practice. I would definitely recommend her!

Lisa is the best Luxembourgish teacher on italki and overall! She is very well organised, provides well structured materials with the new words, expressions and grammar points. It is the very foundation how you can gradually build up the vocabulary and learn the language. She is very patient and explains everything clearly.
I really recommend her to all! She can also tailor your study plan according to your needs.
