As a teacher I am very encouraging, upbeat, and patient. I believe it's important to expose yourself new topics of conversation to build vocabulary. It's also important to consume Native Content that pertains to one's interest, whether it be videos, podcast, books, or articles. I like to spark conversations with questions that give students a chance to practice. At the same time, I am very careful to not talk to much and dominate the conversation. I don't believe in making corrections that inhibit the flow of conversation, but do take notes and share feedback at the end of each lesson. Le mie lezioni e il mio metodo di insegnamento
Of course I provide students at the beginning of each lesson to talk about their day, weekend, or week, but I will have prepare more structured activities to expose students to vocabulary and create topic conversations. This may be open ended questions about cultural idea, pop culture, or current events. Short videos and level appropriate written stories can be used depending on the interests of the students. I will take notes that I will share with students at the end of each lesson. If my student wants more I may even give homework that we can go over the next class.Il mio materiale didattico
