Hello, I am Marvin, a Native Spanish speaker from Costa Rica, I studied software engineering at my University. I really like teaching and helping foreign people who want to learn Spanish, I also like learning new languages like English and Japanese, so as a student I can understand how challenging it is to learn a new language and as a tutor I can help you to achieve and to master your goal in this great and interesting language which is Spanish. I have traveled to many places of my country, so if you are also interested in my country it will be a pleasure to tell you about many interesting places that my country has.

I am a very friendly, fun and supportive Tutor. My lessons are adapted to any level and preferences in order to make sure the student feels comfortable and ready to learn, I also encourage my students with motivation, support and knowledge in each Spanish lesson such as Conversation Lesson where we focus on pronunciation, listening and fluency, in Grammar lesson we will focus on grammar and vocabulary.
About my experience in teaching Spanish, I used to help foreign students at my university in order to improve their language skills: speaking, writing, listening and reading, with an emphasis on communication and grammar. Le mie lezioni e il mio metodo di insegnamento
My goal is to help you to become more fluent in Spanish as quickly and effectively as possible. I like keeping my lessons relaxed and fun so that you can learn Spanish without any pressure. My teaching style is to have a normal and casual conversation which is interactive and designed with full language integration (speaking, listening) but also, I have Grammar Lesson which I will teach you Grammar, vocabulary and also many practices in order to develop and improve your Spanish skill quickly.
Finally, if you need any help (Presentation, Professional Interview, Essay or Homework), then it will be a pleasure to design a lesson with a specific focus on your needs.

Marvin is great! He's patient yet pushes you every lesson to make sure you progress in your spanish learning journey. Our lessons are casual and fun yet I seem to learn a lot with each lesson! Love it

I always enjoy my lessons with Marvin very much. He is a very good at helping you improve your conversation skills and is very patient. I am grateful to him for all the help he has provided me this last year. I know my Spanish would not be where it is now if it was not for Marvins help.

Awesome teacher, will definitely be booking again. We did some practice Spanish for him to know how much I understand and was very accommodating, patient and encouraging. Highly recommend!

A great sesion with Marvin, as always. This time we did a reading (instead of conversatiion). The topic he first chose didn't interst me very much, so I requested another. Within seconds, he chose another text that was fascinating. Marvin knows just when to step in and help me, and when to let me figure something out on my own. He provides examples of vocab usage when i need it. This time had a few minutes left to discuss it after I fin
ished reading, so we each gave our perspective on the topic. I highly recommend Marvin!
