Hi! I’m Alex and I’d love to help you with English! Worried about pronunciation? I can help. Do you need some help with Grammar? I’ll gladly help explain those doubts. Do you just want a chat? I’m here! I really love languages and that includes my own! I’m a native English speaker from the UK 🇬🇧 I have completed several English language studies and gained qualifications so I have a good understanding of my own language. I also know British Sign Language so I’d be glad to show you some signs or even learn some BSL! I believe that I am a supportive and enthusiastic educator of the English language. I strive to help students learn and understand English in an encouraging and stress free environment, where students can feel free to ask me all the questions they want. My approach is friendly, supportive and as communicative as you want. I like to create a relaxed, learning environment where students can ask questions, make mistakes and learn from them. I can also teach confidently in Romanian, Russian and Latin American Spanish. I would also love to help anyone from anywhere in the world improve their English! I work with beginners through to advanced students! As I said, I love languages so I understand the difficulties of learning grammar and vocabulary. I create my own teaching materials in English. I also have and can create materials in Romanian, Spanish and Russian. All of my materials are personalised according to the learners needs and desires. I am very adaptable to different learning styles. I can teach you grammar, help with building confidence in speaking, pronunciation lessons and help students learn or improve their vocabulary. My lessons can be as conversational as the student wants. My typical lesson structure focuses on grammar, vocabulary and speaking, incorporating the 3 core elements of language learning. During lessons, he asks thoughtful questions, encourages you to express yourself, and corrects your mistakes to help you gain fluency in speaking. You can improve your skills in writing, speaking, listening, grammar, or any other area, no matter your starting level.

Alex is very warm and welcoming. He had made an effort to learn how to greet me in my native language, even though he had never studied it before. I was surprised by how many things he knew about my country and culture. He had prepared very well.
