Kumusta! I’m Teacher Beth, a licensed Filipino Tagalog educator from the Philippines with 12 years of teaching experience. I help learners of all levels, from complete beginners to advanced speakers, gain confidence in using Tagalog for travel, work, everyday life, or even tricky in-depth conversations. I am a native speaker based in beautiful La Union, surrounded by beaches and mountains, and I bring that relaxed yet focused energy into my lessons. I am a licensed Filipino teacher with 12 years of teaching experience. Aside from Filipino, I also speak and understand Iloko and Pangasinense. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Education from a national university and have completed additional teacher training from various institutions. Ms Beth planned a really detailed and organised lesson today and I was just so impressed. It was a tough topic but she was able to break it down for me to understand it clearly. A really awesome teacher! 👏

I am so grateful for Ms Beth who made the effort to understand what sort of learner I am and to tailor-make the lesson and materials in a way that I can understand in a clear and enjoyable manner. My trial lesson with Beth went so well! She was well prepared for the session and made sure to give me a good understanding of what learning from her would look like. I'm looking forward to meeting with her consistently and working on my path to fluency. :)

It was yet another amazing class with Ms Beth! The time flew by so fast because it was so engaging and fun. She is so well-prepared and really takes time to make sure explanations are clear. She then follows-up with really organised practice exercises to help utilise whatever was just introduced. Thank you, Ms Beth!:)
