Chào bạn! I’m Phuong. My accent is a natural mix of North and South—I speak with the clarity of northern Vietnamese, softened by years of living here in Ho Chi Minh City. This makes me very easy to understand, no matter which part of Vietnam you're visiting. In our sessions, we’ll skip the stiff textbook lines. Instead, I’ll show you how locals actually speak—from everyday slang to modern street culture. As a language learner myself (currently tackling Chinese), I know exactly how tough—and rewarding—this process can be. You can expect a patient, supportive space that feels less like a strict classroom and more like catching up with a friend over coffee. I could explain a lot of things about my life and ask her about her life. This was a great way to find stuff that I don't know how to say yet and to get support from the teacher. Her accent is fairly neutral and she was easy to understand. She was able to speak English but maximized the use of the target language, Vietnamese, which I really appreciate.
