Hi, I'm Natsu😊
I was born in Kumamoto and now live in Saga Prefecture, Japan.
I love Japanese traditional culture and nature.
I also enjoy camping, hiking, and watching movies and anime — my recent favorite is “Look Back”!
I also love playing the ukulele!
I studied Japanese literature at university and worked in Tokyo for 10 years as a web director. Now, I work as a freelance Japanese teacher and web consultant.
I look forward to helping you improve your Japanese and sharing Japanese culture with you!

In 2023, I completed a Japanese teacher training course and passed the Japanese Language Teaching Competency Test.
Now I teach Japanese at a language school, an online school, and an IT company.
With about 10 years of experience as a web director, I can also help with business Japanese.
🏫 I teach beginner to intermediate classes (around 20 students) at a Japanese language school.
💻 I give private and small group lessons at an online Japanese school in Taiwan.
🧑💻 I also teach business Japanese to engineers at an IT company.

I use different materials based on your level and goals.
Main textbooks: Minna no Nihongo, Genki, Irodori, Marugoto.

My Japanese teacher is honestly fantastic. She’s kind, patient, and explains everything in a way that actually sticks. Even when we go over tricky grammar or new expressions, she always finds a clear and simple way to make it understandable.
I really appreciate how she tailors each lesson to what I need. She pays attention, remembers the things I struggle with, and adjusts the pace without making it feel slow or overwhelming. Every session feels comfortable, encouraging, and genuinely enjoyable.
I’ve made so much progress thanks to her teaching, and I’m excited for every lesson. She puts real care into what she does, and it shows. I’m truly grateful to be studying with her.

ナツ、面白い話をありがとう！
文化って、食べ物とか言葉だけじゃなくて、ボディランゲージとか、あいづちとか、いろんな習慣にも関係してるって話すの、すごく楽しいね。
オーストリアやドイツでは、ほんとに人がよくジロジロ見てくるんだよ。しかも、感情のない顔で（笑）
いつかナツがオーストリアに来たら、たぶんびっくりすると思うよ〜。
日本に行ったら、落語の公演も見てみたいし、時間があれば『コクホウ』っていう映画も観てみるね！おすすめしてくれてありがとう！
