Tom

Tom is a teacher. He is fully bilingual so he is able to interpret the more difficult nuances of Japanese with ease. That is very helpful for advanced learners. Many advanced grammar patterns look the exact same to me. However; is able to explain how they are used differently and give English examples that correlate. That skill has been immensely beneficial to me.

Tomu-sensei is a great teacher. I'm a bit of an atypical student since I already learned quite a lot of vocabulary and kanji via some self-studying apps. He was able to adapt very quickly to my situation (knowing lots of words/kanji, lacking grammar/conversation skills), and his lessons are never boring. In just one week I feel I am already improving exponentially. I cannot recommend this enough, it's perfect.

It was nice to see Tom again to have English speaking practice! I learned interesting things about Japan from him in English, its history, famous nature places and religion, we've also talked about the Labor Day in different countries, about crime in Spain, Japan, Russia and the USA and other interesting topics. Tom is kind, patient, respectful and he is also interested in learning about Russia and the world in general. Another nice class as always!

I'm really glad that I started learning with Tom. He's not only a wonderful teacher but also a tremendous person who supports you in all possible ways and cherishes every attempt to grasp for new knowledge. After several lessons my Japanese improved, it takes much less time for me to formulate sentences and it's easier to comprehend spoken language. I'm sure that together we will achieve my dream goal of B2 japanese language level.

I had a great first lesson with Tom. His trial lesson is 60 minutes which is amazing.

It was great to meet Tom and practice speaking English with him today because he is patient, kind, friendly and he is interested in traveling around the world and learning about different countries and cultures just like I do! Today explored the world on the Google Maps, talked about my city Vladivostok, languages, leisure activities, geography and other interesting topics. He gave me feedback of my English level after the class and he gave me the chance to ask him any questions at the end of the class which is great! It was nice meeting a great Japanese man to talk to in English and I'm looking forward to seeing him again soon! I'm very thankful for this awesome speaking class!
