Hi, I'm Tony, and I live in the northeastern part of Brazil—a place I absolutely love. I've always been passionate about learning new languages and have dedicated myself to continuously improving my skills.
I’m a very persistent person, and I enjoy traveling, exploring new cultures, languages, and places. I’m also a huge fan of pop music, anime, movies, and TV series.

I started my teaching career at the College of Engineering, helping first-year students with English. In 2016, while attending an English course at a language center, my teachers noticed my potential and often asked me to substitute for them, which I’ve been doing for the past five years.
I also provide private lessons to teenagers and beginner English learners, as well as Portuguese lessons for foreigners.

I have multiple teachers on this platform and Tony is my favorite. He makes classes fun and teaches at my level very well. I have seen much improvement in my Portuguese and have a lot of confidence to speak with others now. I genuinely look forward to our classes, to improve my Portuguese and also to understand the culture.

Tony is an incredible tutor and I highly recommend taking a class with him to get your Portuguese started.
I've been taking courses on on this platform for Spanish and so when I decided to do Portuguese, Tony went above and beyond for our lesson. Super prepared, fun and humble. I'll definitely take another lesson soon.

Had another great week of lessons! Tony is always so helpful and catches the little things in my phrasing that make a huge difference in sounding more natural. He’s super easy to talk to and really stays focused on what you actually need to work on. Definitely recommend him if you want to get more comfortable with the language fast.

What a pleasure to be able to have class with Tony again- I had to abandon classes for a while due to other commitments but it’s really nice to have class with Tony again! He has a really calm vibe and always makes speaking Portugues feel like just another conversation ! Super teacher !

Tony’s the best. Our sessions are super chill and he has such a friendly, welcoming vibe that makes it easy to practice speaking without overthinking it. He’s really attentive and great at keeping the conversation moving. He makes learning feel like just hanging out with a friend.
