Hi, I'm an Italian language tutor on Italki. I live in Salerno, a little town in the south of Italy.
I am a very flexible tutor and have a wide range of availability, but I highly recommend booking in advance as I work for several platforms and give private lessons at home.
I AM ONLY AVALABLE FOR LESSONS, NOT FOR EXCHANGES. I WILL NOT REPLY TO ANY MESSAGES CONTAINING VAGUE GREETINGS SUCH AS "hi", "how are you?" and things like that, but I'm willing to clear up any doubt about my language in chat. So, feel free to contact me in that case.Che tipo di insegnante sono
I have been studying English and Spanish, so I know from experience that learning a language takes time and dedication. My aim is to make this process as pleasant and fun as possible.
I deal with many students around the world by giving language lessons, both in person, at the Italian language school Accademia Leonardo in Salerno, and via Skype.
My passion for languages and my studies brought me to understand that languages are not just simple codes ruled by grammatical norms, but that they are actually used to express ourselves as individuals with different backgrounds and cultures.Le mie lezioni e il mio metodo di insegnamento
Lessons will focus primarily on the conversational aspect of the language, but grammar, exercises, and correction of written texts are not excluded. Flexibility will be guaranteed according to the student. All Italian students will be asked to take an entry test that they will have to submit at least 3 days before the first lesson. Please, send me a message before booking.
Since I have the DITALS certification, I can help you pass CELI, PLIDA and CILS exams.
NOTE:
-Each 60-minute lesson will last 55 minutes if another lesson is scheduled just afterwards. Each 90-minute lesson includes a 10-minute break.

Another excellent lesson with Marcello. Friendly and engaging as ever, he nonetheless always stretches your understanding and pushes your learning. His obvious love for language, and passion for teaching, mean that no question is ever too silly or too obscure, and there is plenty of room to explore the language in ways that interest you, but still on a very deliberate and scheduled track.
