I’m a lawyer specialized in international law and polyglot educator with a background in linguistics and years of immersive research across several countries. I speak Spanish, English, Italian, French and conversational Chinese, and I’ve taught Spanish both online and at International School in Thailand.
I don’t teach grammar rules.
I engineer acquisition.
My method is rooted in Comprehensible Input and TPRS — the science of how the brain truly acquires language. This is faster, more natural, and dramatically more effective than traditional classes.

I truly believe that traditional teaching methods in most schools and universities are not as effective as they could be—I’ve experienced that myself. That’s why I embrace the natural approach to language acquisition, inspired by Stephen Krashen’s theory: we acquire a language when we understand the message. Through my teaching, I combine my personal language learning experience with effective methods like Comprehensible Input and Storytelling to help my students acquire Spanish naturally and enjoyably. My lessons are designed for real acquisition — not memorization.
I don’t waste your time with conjugation charts or abstract rules. Instead, I create meaningful input, compelling stories, and rich interaction that forces your brain to process Spanish naturally, without pain.
This is not a “school subject.”
This is language as life.
I use Comprehensible Input + TPRS — scientifically aligned with how the brain actually learns. You will understand more than you expect, speak earlier than you think, and feel Spanish becoming automatic inside you.

I can't believe how Jeremías helps me with my spanish in such a easy going and chill manner. It doesn't feel like struggling to learn a new language but having a nice chat with your cozy friend, and at some point, you find yourself start speaking in Spanish. Quite a magical experience.

This is my third session with Jeremias V and I'm really enjoying his tuition style! The TPRS methods he uses are about as low-stress as you can get, which works very well for a false beginner like me. He gently guides a simple conversation using visual cues, types words, and assists where necessary with words, translations, and support to help plug vocab knowedge gaps. Today I was pleased to see our conversation authentically veer off into talking about crocodiles and sharks in Australia, which was then adapted into the lesson as we discussed seasons and the coastline/beach using imagery and stories. So if you're looking for a great italki teacher who can patiently coax you into speaking more Spanish than you realised you were capable of, then Jeremias is an excellent choice for building your skill and confidence. I have gone from being a bit anxious about my upcoming italki lessons to actually looking forward to them. Thanks Jeremias!

Always a fun chat with Jeremias! I have now taken a lot of lessons on italki, but Jeremias is one teacher I always look forward to. He's always so positive and engaging, and such a great conversationalist, that the time flies and I end up surprised at how much of it was spent with me speaking entirely in Spanish. Thanks for another lesson my friend, and I'll see you at the next one!
