I have now had over 50 lessons with Ako Sensei and each one has been enjoyable and a great way to learn Japanese. Ako Sensei has put a lot of effort into her lesson structure to suit my needs so we do a nice mix of free talk and textbook study. I am also enjoying the casual Japanese segement she has introduced to help me learn phrases that textbooks don't often teach. I highly recommend learning with Ako Sensei!

I was very nervous before the lesson, but Ako made it very easy and fun! She celebrated every time when I was able to understand her and answered her question. I think she is a great teacher and I will keep following her!

Today was another fun lesson with Sensei. We were talking about my recent holiday to America and because of my lessons with her, I was able to explain my trip to her in Japanese. Thank you Sensei!

I learned a lot in today's lesson! The class had a great balance of structure and natural conversation, which made it easy to understand the grammar and also see how it's used in real situations. I learned the difference between a few grammar rules and we talked about the holidays! Ako-sensei explained everything clearly, gave helpful examples, and made me feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes. I felt relaxed and supported throughout the lesson, and I really appreciated the positive and encouraging atmosphere as usual! After this lesson, I feel like I understand the material better and know that she is a great fit for me. I'm excited to continue studying and looking forward to our next lesson in the new year! I can't wait!

Another great lesson with Ako Sensei. Today she introduced a new section to our lesson where we go over some more casual and everyday Japanese that textbooks don't usually cover which I think is very useful. Thank You Ako Sensei

I have been taking lessons with Ako-Sensei for over a year now and I am extremely glad I found her. During our time together, she has tailored her classes to my requests so that we have a nice mix of both free talk in Japanese and textbook study with Quartet. Since starting, we have been able to deepen the level of our conversations to include topics that don't typically appear in textbooks which has been a great help in improving my vocabulary. She has also been teaching me about life in Japan and prepares pictures for us to go through. Of course, if I have any specific requests/questions, she will go out of her way to assist me and incorparate it into the lesson. I am extremely happy with my progress which was possible because of these lessons. I highly recommend taking classes with Ako-Sensei - her clear speaking and easy to understand explanations make learning Japanese fun and I look forward to every lesson. Thank You Ako-Sensei!
