Hello I'm Xavier, a French native speaker with roots from Alsace (FR) who grew up in Geneva, Switzerland. I studied in Lausanne for a Bachelor's degree in Science and then in St.Gallen for a bilingual Master's degree in German-English. Moreover, I lived a couple of years in Zürich, hence I also speak Swiss-German.
I love hiking and traveling and have a genuine passion for teaching and learning languages. I'm currently learning Chinese Mandarin and live in Thailand for a while, so watch out for the time difference in my calendar! :)Che tipo di insegnante sono
I have been successfully tutoring students on various online platforms for some time now. The feedback from my students is very positive because I know how to tailor my teaching materials to their goals, needs and level.
For instance, while some of my students want to focus on grammar, others want to improve their conversation skill or just prepare for an examination. Xavier is an excellent teacher. He is well-prepared and very patient. He adapted his teaching material according to my level, and he can explain grammar points super clearly in French. I am very glad that I found him on italki. I would recommend him to anyone who wish to learn French in a stress-free and engaging way.

Sehr gute Erfahrung. Die Unterricht hat ein angenehme Tempo, Xavier spricht nicht zu schnell, was hilfsreich ist. so kann ich verstehen, was er sagt und die Grammatik herauszufinden.
