"Experienced Dutch teacher helping you speak confidently through interactive lessons" Hi, I’m Petra. I’m 43 years old and have been teaching for 21 years. I teach Dutch, geography, and history (online and in a high school) In my free time, I enjoy reading, traveling, cooking, and meeting new people. These hobbies bring me a lot of joy and help me stay curious and open-minded. I’m passionate about helping people improve their language skills, especially speaking and understanding Dutch. I’m a patient, calm, and friendly teacher, and I always try to create a comfortable environment where you feel confident to speak. Respect is very important to me. I believe that when we respect each other, learning becomes easier and more enjoyable. You can always ask questions—I’m here to support you. In our lessons, we’ll use a coursebook as a guide and focus on vocabulary, grammar, and culture. My teaching style is interactive, so you’ll practice speaking, listening, reading, and writing. I may also give homework to help you improve faster. I look forward to learning and growing together!

I really feel I benefit a lot from my lessons with Petra. The book we follow is perfectly chosen for my level — challenging enough to keep me progressing, but never overwhelming — which is exactly what I needed.
