April Ruth

I’ve gone through other teachers trying to teach biasya and this one is by far one of the best on this platform. She is very well prepared for the class explains to you the weekly goals of what you will learn, and also very educated in formal and informal ways to speak the language. Two thumbs up. This teacher is highly recommended

The teacher's punctuality is highly appreciated, and her professionalism is evident in every interaction. With her specialized degree in teaching Filipino, I have full confidence in her instruction. It sets her apart from other tutors. I'm grateful for her patient correction of my pronunciation. I'm continuously expanding my vocabulary with her guidance. Her flexibility in accommodating my learning preferences makes her a standout teacher.

Ruth is one of my favorite teachers on this platform, not only because she knows how to explain & teach concepts well, but because she is a kind, patient, & genuine person. She cares both for my progress as a student as well as me as an individual. I've always wanted to speak Tagalog & Bisaya at a decent level, & Ruth helps keep my passion for the languages burning! Over the years, I've taken 285 lessons on iTalki. I have to say that April has really stood out as a great teacher. She is spending time outside of class preparing materials to make our classes better. She is always happy and energetic. I can't say enough good things about her.

Ruth is a fantastic teacher for anyone serious about learning Tagalog. I've been learning with her for a few months now and I would highly recommend. Ruth always comes prepared with well planned lessons and is very knowledgeable. The lessons are usually interactive- I'll often get to practise constructing sentences with the ideas I've just learnt, and she will happily explain anything to me that's unclear.

It has been a great experience learning Cebuano with Teacher Ruth. She is very knowledgeable, patient, and kind. She explains things clearly and makes the lessons comfortable and enjoyable. I highly recommend her to anyone who wants to learn Cebuano.
