Mia-sensei is, without a doubt, the best teacher you could ask for! There will be plenty of moments during your learning journey when you feel like your progress is plateauing, but Mia is patient and encouraging throughout those seasons. ^^

Mia-san is fun and supportive. When I struggle with the textbook, she makes it easy to understand. During conversations, if I can’t think of the right word, she encourages me to describe it in Japanese using words I already know instead of switching to English.

This entire year of lessons with Mia was so much fun. Forever glad I started taking lessons with Mia. Looking back, it’s tangible how much more comfortable I am becoming with speaking in Japanese. I still have a long way to go, but I’m looking forward to it!
