I am a professional Hebrew teacher certified by the Hebrew University, with 16 years of experience. I have extensive experience in different teaching formats including large group, small group, one-to-one, and online teaching. I teach various levels – beginners to advanced as well as Biblical Hebrew. I am also a visual artist, my art has been exhibited internationally at renowned venues in various group exhibitions as well as solo shows in Israel and beyond.Che tipo di insegnante sono
I am a patient and relaxed teacher. I do my best to make my lessons enjoyable. I have an ability to make my students feel comfortable in my presence, and I can explain complicated things in a simple way. I like planning my lessons and having a structure for each lesson. At the same time I flow with whatever comes up and with the student's interest, so I find the right balance between structure and spontanity. I use the book Hebrew from Scratch for levels Alef- Bet. During the lesson I use a google doc which I share with the student, who can also edit it during and after the lesson. We will work on four skills: speaking, listening comprehension, reading and writing, while focusing more on the student's specific needs.Il mio materiale didattico

Rachel gives examples to help understand the meaning of words and provides homework. She is able to adapt quickly to my needs and helped me feel very comfortable. I would recommend Rachel as a teacher to anyone who wants to learn Hebrew from the beginning.

I don’t typically write reviews, as I prefer to keep what I learn to myself, but after just three lessons, I felt compelled to share my experience so far. Rachel has been incredibly patient with me. We've had some great discussions about my learning goals, and she tailored a plan that perfectly matches my current Hebrew level. I’ve really enjoyed every lesson with her. She provides helpful advice and gently corrects my mistakes, always making me feel confident that I can learn. I highly recommend Rachel to anyone wanting to learn Hebrew.😁

Rachel is very knowledgeable about Hebrew and during our trial lesson she taught me the differences between writing and printout letters. She gave me homework to do for our next lesson which is great. 👍
She was very patient with my questions and helpful in her answers. I would recommend her for those who want to learn Hebrew seriously.👌
