Bruno Terzi

I am really liking these role plays and utilizing a set of vocabulary. Initially I wasn't looking for something so rigid but what Bruno offers seems to work well with me. It forces me to utilize the new vocabulary which was always my problem. Learning & understanding is one thing. My issue has always been the inability to speak to a point where I can express myself freely on a given subject. So doing this particular method by Bruno seems to help! So I am glad that he thought of this.

Wonderful first lesson with Bruno. He's very enthusiastic and his enthusiasm is contagious. We talked about different topics and he was very knowledgeable about all of them. Looking forward to our next lesson.

Bruno planned a lesson based on my interest in learning more about the southern states in Brazil. We used a video he sent me prior for the base of our discussion. It was a great conversation! I learned more than just the language :-)

Bruno helps me not only with introducing new vocabulary but also how to use it. Today was a bit harder for me, as it had to do with reading comprehension as I normally have a problem with that in my native language. But it seems as more of these that I do, I become more at east with the questions and answering them as best as I can. Luckily Bruno is good with explanations and the use of a word and/or phrase.

While I initially didn't care for a strict format for praticing conversation, I find Bruno's method actually working and helping me to remember the vocabulary. Not only do I learn vocabulary of a particular topic, he makes me practice it and have a conversation utilizing what I had just learned or may be familiar with. Aside from the grammar aspects that I may get wrong, the main part I knew I had issues with is speaking in the past, the different ways to form the past tense in Portuguese. So these are really helping and making it easier to speak.
