I am a CELTA-certified English instructor from the United States, currently serving as a university lecturer in Hungary. Language is a social activity. As such, it is important that you have the means to interact with other human beings using in this case the English language. Therefore, I want students to practice reading, writing, speaking, and listening. Furthermore, I want students to practice informal and colloquial English so as to better comprehend and communicate with native English speakers. I also believe that active participation is a fundamental part of language learning. Therefore, my goal is for students to speak as much as possible during lessons. During our first lesson, I will evaluate your English level. I will plan your lessons accordingly so that they are not too difficult, but at the same time will challenge you enough that your English will improve. I will prepare each and every lesson for you beforehand. Each lesson will have a particular outcome in mind. Moreover, I will adapt our lessons to your particular goals. Are you preparing for an English language exam? Or are you planning to travel or to undertake business in an English-speaking country? In both cases the lessons I will plan will be different. Brice Cantrell is a very good and kind teacher. He showed me a picture and asked me to describe it by guiding me patiently. During this procedure, he has not only enriched my vocabulary repertoire but also developed my oral skills. I have learned a lot by studying with him. Highly recommended!

La scelta dell'insegnante
Brice has a unique teaching style which I personally find the most suitable for young learners. He is very helpful and patient, and uses simple language. My son can easily understand and follow the conversation. I like the jokes from time to time during the lesson. They help to relax and enjoy studying. Thank you!

É sempre um prazer falar com o Brice! :) Estou com uma lista cheia de expressões (porque durante a lição, acho importante fazer anotações): "to make one's way", "to sell oneself short", "to jump to a conclusion", "to come to a conclusion", "to get around" e muitas outras. Acho que o Brice é um professor muito comprometido, muito respeitoso e muito inteligente! Brasileiros e portugueses: agendem suas lições! Ele é realmente muito bom! See you later, Brice! :)
