To those interested in learning Romanian, this is how my teacher gives me her lessons. My teacher, Teodora, gives me a short videoclip one week before a class and I talk about it: impressions, which parts were interesting, what I think about them, anything is OK. This is a good way to speak and listen to Romanian language. I get later feedback about my speech and there may be questions and answers related to the topic. Also, she gives me a homework consisting of composition (10 short sentences) and 10 sentences with a blank to fill in. The homework is checked and returned with corrections. In the class, I get comments about mistakes I made. This is also good feedback. Finally, there's a short time of review questions about vocabulary in previous lessons. With all these materials and activities, the lessons are very fulfilling although we have a 30 minute-lessons. I highly recommend my teacher, Teodora.

I really like the classes with Teodora, the atmosphere is great and at the same time very productive. She explains everything when you don't understand and supports you.

I had enough chance to speak about the topic and got some useful information in return. My composition was reviewed nicely and my questions answered adequately.

I feel like my control of Romanian is strengthening with each lesson and set of homework assignments. Teodora is structured but not rigid, planned but not closed to new methods, serious but not without humor. Really a great balance. I've increased my lessons to 1.5 hours from 1 since I get so much out of the lessons. She's highly recommended by me to any level of student at whichever stage.
