Hi!
My name is Mathilde and I'm 31 years old. I have a Masters Degree in Communications Studies and I've worked as a teacher at an elementary school and been a language instructor teaching Danish as a 2nd language to employees at Novo Nordisk.
Now I just moved to Canada to explore the Rockies and am finally able to open up for new students.
My main interests are nature, running, hiking, music, yoga, animals, being creative and I do enjoy a good cup of coffee!
I have created new course materials for beginner classes and I am open to adjust the materials for your needs regardless of your level.

As a teacher I'm very openminded and relaxed. I've created a beginners course with materials on various topics and with grammar exercises. I also offer to help more advanced students to improve their skills either with conversation practice, articles or exercises.
I like to adjust my materials depending on your goals and motivations and I'm also flexible about the schedule.

If you're a complete beginner I've course materials that we will use. We will spend as much time as needed on each topic and dive deeper into preferred topics or grammar according to your desires. I can also offer home exercises or we can do them together in class.
I also offer conversation practice, where we will talk about various topics that you would like and we can also practice using articles or previous exams used for language tests.
I love to help people reach their goals and to be a part of their progress.

Mathilde is wonderful! I recently came back to learn after some time off and we picked up with a nice little refresher. She really facilitates learning and makes you feel comfortable to speak. She’s also very accommodating and responsive.

Mathilde is an excellent Danish instructor. She is patient and corrects my pronunciation, which is important to me. I am a very shy person, and she really keeps the conversation moving and approaches things with a sense of humor. It makes lessons with her enjoyable and rewarding.

Mathilde was a very helpful and patient teacher. i’ve never thought that i would have so much fun learning a new language but Mathilde really made learning danish a much more enjoyable experience!! :)
