Hi there! My name is Onur. I am a Phd Student and a research assistant at the Department of American Studies at Humboldt University of Berlin. My passions lie in reading, learning, and having fun while doing what I love.

I have been teaching English for 5 years at various universities such as Hacettepe University. I am now teaching several courses at Humboldt's American Literature Department in Germany. Literature, reading, learning, and teaching are my passions and nothing excites me more than speaking what I am passionate about! If you want to improve your English, particularly your speaking skills with me, you have finally found the right place!
I am also teaching my beautiful mother tongue Turkish to all who are interested in learning and improving!

I've only had two lessons with Onur, but I'm already impressed! He's super engaged and cares about helping me get better at English. Even in just these few lessons, I've found him to be really easy to talk to, making learning way more fun. I love that I can chat about things I'm really into, like comics, books, movies, and TV shows, while practicing my English. If these are your topics, I highly recommend Onur as a teacher!

I would highly recommend lessons with Onur to anyone who wants to learn Turkish!
Onur is a great teacher: very patient, knowledgeable and supportive. His lessons are well-prepared and tailored to my specific language goals, he gives great feedback and he creates a great atmosphere during the lessons. He is very easy to talk to about a lot of topics, thanks to his broad knowledge and diverse interests!
The past three months have really helped me learning Turkish, and I am sure the next three months will do the same. Try it, and you will not regret it!
