Hello! I’m Juan Pablo, a Professional English Teacher on iTalki with a 168-hour TEFL certification. I’ve taught over 1200 classes to students of all ages and levels on Italki.
I’ve recently completed my TEFL certification and specialize in helping learners build real-life confidence in English through engaging conversations, clear explanations, and practical examples. My other additional certifications include a TEYL for young learners and a TEAL for adult learners.

I'm lover of languages. I believe that language learning opens doors to endless possibilities. With a background in film and a deep appreciation for all facets of life, I bring a unique perspective to the classroom that you may not find with other tutors.
I've been teaching English for about 3 years on various popular platforms and it has been such a blessing overall. I also enjoy sharing stories, experiences, and perspectives from different cultures, infusing my lessons with diversity and richness.

My teaching style as a language teacher is the communicative approach. This focuses on teaching the language in context while talking about real-life situations.
Students are encouraged to communicate and use the language actively, rather than just passively receiving information. I serve as a motivator with my unique insight and teaching experience.
Lastly, I use the latest AI technology to cater to my students' individual needs, which includes customized homework after every class to target errors and reinforce newly learned information. En el largo camino que es el aprendizaje de un idioma la persona que te guía/acompaña para que progreses es clave y en el caso de Juan, lo hace de una forma tan buena, buscando la forma de motivarte de la mejor manera, hacerte ver los errores pero sin que te flageles por ellos sino como simple parte del aprendizaje y la búsqueda de formas de que interiorices las correcciones y sigas aprendiendo es en mi opinión perfecta para el proceso de mejora continua que se necesita
