My name's Polina 🧡
I was born in Rostov-on-Don in the south of Russia and I spent most of my life there, but in september 2022 I decided to move to Bordeaux in the west of France to experience a life in a different country!
I'm getting a second bachelor's degree in Cinema here at Bordeaux Montaigne University - I got the first one in Foreign Philology (French) at Southern Federal University in Russia - and giving individual lessons of Russian, English and French 😌
I love meeting new people, discovering new cultures and trying out new things in life and absolutely can't leave without art: dancing, cinema, literature, music, video games... ✨Che tipo di insegnante sono
For almost a year I worked for Skyeng, a popular online English school where I gave 700+ lessons and had 25+ students. It was a really valuable experience for me, because Skyeng has built my teaching approach and helped me include my personal vision in it. While working there I realized how much I love teaching languages 🧡
Now I have a community of Russian and French speaking students who study Russian, French and English with me. With some of them, we organize English speaking clubs and I couldn't be happier to meet such amazing people thanks to my job 🌟 Le mie lezioni e il mio metodo di insegnamento
I've been learning English and French since my childhood but I'm still passionate about them and I have a feeling it'll always be this way. I still have memories of how it feels to enter a new mentality with a new language so I'm aware of the challenges that my students may face and I'm willing to help them dive into the logic and culture of a language 🤓
I stick to a communicative approach which means that all the grammar rules, new words, constructions and expressions will be primarily practised in speech. I teach students of any level - from beginner to advanced - and I really pay attention to personal goals and interests to make lessons as effective and interesting as possible 😎Il mio materiale didattico

Polina is a positive person and a good teacher. The lessons go well. I can ask a lot of questions during the training, Polina easily answers them all! This helps my training a lot. The material is presented well and accessible. I will gladly recommend her lessons to anyone who is looking for a teacher for themselves.
