I am Kelly Cho, a native Korean with a positive attitude and a passion for helping you learn Korean. I grew up and live in Gyeonggi-do near Seoul, so I speak standard Korean. I have a master’s degree in teaching Korean as a second language. Before I became a Korean teacher, I worked for a company for a few years, so I can help you with business Korean as well. I studied English in the State for a year, and I learned Spanish for my travels to South America and Spain. So, I understand all the challenges that come with learning a second language. I’ve been teaching for over 10 years(more than 5000 hours) in university from beginners to advanced. I am also tutoring students, businessman, English teachers as well. So I can help you improve your Korean at any level and in any area(speaking, grammar, pronunciation, etc) including preparing for the TOPIK test. I can help you improve your Korean at any level and in any area, including preparing for the TOPIK test. I worked for a company for a few years, so I can help you with business Korean as well. I am using a lot of teaching materials including pdf worksheet that I made myself. If you want to practice yourself, I can give you homework that I can check your mistakes. I highly recommend my Korean teacher to anyone looking to learn the language in an engaging and effective way.
Teaching Style:
She has a clear and structured teaching style that makes each class both informative and enjoyable. She explains even complex grammar points in a simple and relatable manner, which makes them much easier to understand and remember.
Class Materials:
The materials she provides are always well-prepared and relevant to real-life situations. Everything is thoughtfully selected to support learning and encourage practical use of the language.

I truly enjoy every Korean lesson with my teacher. She explains difficult grammar in such a simple and clear way that it's easy to understand and remember. The class is always engaging and full of useful expressions that I can apply in real life.

It was a great class! Teacher guided us through speaking practice and took the time to understand our learning goals. Her teaching was very professional. She kindly corrected our mistakes and expanded on them with helpful explanations. I'm looking forward to the next lesson!

I requested the lesson the night before (leaving only about 12 hours for her to plan the lesson) but she still was able to prepare a presentation relevant to my specific situation! I found the class very helpful as the teacher made sure to provide feedback on my word-choice/pronunciation on top of answering any questions I have. Highly recommend this teacher!
