Welcome to my profile! I have been working as an Italian, English and Sicilian teacher for seven years now. My teaching experience, along with a Bachelor of Education, Bachelor of Cinema and Television, Master Degree of Communcation in Schools & DITALS Certificate offer the best training to my students. I have taught children, teenagers, adults and business people.

I am highly prepared and effective teacher. I have the experience, knowledge and empathy necessary to make sure you reach your goals the way you want to. During the first lesson I am assessing progress, correcting errors and diagnosing what needs to be done in follow-up lesson. I always try to get to know my students and figure out what is the best way to teach each person. I always assist in correcting mispronunciation and asking for personal opinion about what we read so that I can prepare vocabulary and useful expressions for you. Awesome lesson, I love how you are able to compare mistakes I make to other languages I speak and I’ve never felt so well understood by a language teacher so it’s a great feeling. It’s interactive, interesting, entertaining, and I have to reach and think during the lesson time. Grazie per tutto, e a presto!

Marcello is a great teacher. He corrects and explains your errors to you. He is very clever and comedic. He can have me in hysterics within a few minutes. Always an informative and entertaining class. Marcello is one of a kind!

Until I spoke to Marcello, I didn't know how to translate or pronounce my character's lines (in a script that I wrote myself) in authentic Sicilian.
He got right to the point and helped me first to translate the words, then to get all the complex Sicilian letters and vowels down correctly.
I learned a lot from Marcello's lesson and I would definitely recommend him.
