Lucía is an enthusiastic teacher and a great conversation partner. Her charisma, confidence, and passion for teaching were evident from the first lesson! She is intelligent and well-read, which enables her to converse on a wide range of topics. She also has a great sense of humor, which really makes the time fly during our conversations. Her corrections are timely and well-delivered, so that I never feel embarrassed about making mistakes. As an intermediate Spanish speaker I seldom choose to participate in structured activities with my tutors, but she piqued my interest by offering me materials that were specific to my interests. I am very happy to have met Lucía, and I look forward to spending a lot of time with her.

Today we went from talking about the Plaza Mayor in Madrid to the entire modern history of Spain, from Isabella II to the Serrano Regency, then Amadeo I, then the Carlista Rebellion, then Alfonso XII, Alfonso XIII, the Second Republic, then Franco, then Juan Carlos, and then all the way to Felipe VI and Letizia.
