Want to practice speaking Japanese in a relaxed and friendly environment?
I offer conversation practice and structured textbook lessons for your level.
I used to work as a university secretary, supporting international students and professors.
That experience inspired me to become a Japanese tutor, and I’ve taught learners from many countries ever since.
For me, learning a language means learning how to connect and communicate with others.
Recently, I’ve been checking things off my bucket list — I started learning guitar and dance! 🎸🕺
I love mystery novels and dramas, and I also enjoy anime 🥰
Right now, I’m really into Dr. Stone and Haikyuu!!

Read short articles or stories to improve vocabulary and expression.
Choose topics you enjoy.
We'll also discuss them, and review questions can be shared via Notion.
You’ll clearly see your progress.
🔸 Textbook Lessons
Use GENKI or others based on your goals. You can use the JIC program for N5,4.
I always include some conversation time.
🔸 Daily Conversation
Talk about topics that interest you while learning natural Japanese.
We can also do vocabulary practice, sentence building, or quizzes.
🔸 Travel Japanese
Practice words and phrases for real travel situations—at hotels, shops, restaurants, and more.

Thank you so much for todays lesson. I feel like I have really improved my understanding and I feel much more confident in using potential form verbs :).
I really liked the way you taught the lesson, you could see when I was not confident and gave me the support I needed to make progress and to be successful.

Mitsuki (sorry if i misspelled that) is a wonderful teacher who is excited to teach, and every time i have a lesson with her i learn something new, while reviewing what I’ve already learned. She uses textbooks and power points but goes through them with you making it fun 😁 she’s patient when you make a mistake and helps you correct it, while celebrating when you get it right! She doesn’t really assign homework but she gives you the resources to practice on your own if you have the time and wish to. She’s a wonderful teacher and i imagine I’ll be taking lessons with her for a long time! Looking forward to my next lesson

This was my first lesson with Mitsuko ☺️. She explains everything very good and I learnt a lot as a beginner via reading, listening and speaking.
I will continue taking lessons with her ☺️.
