I am from & live in Tokyo, Japan and speak standard Japanese.
I have insurance and other business experience in a large Japanese company.
I love art in general, but I also love anime such as Jutsu Kaisen, Naruto, Kimetsunoyaiba etc.

In my lessons I use language science and comparative language to stimulate intellectual interest, make it fun and interesting, and effectively consolidate Cando.
Beginners and advanced are welcome to study grammar, conversation, business Japanese and the JLPT.
We use ‘Genki’, ‘Minna no Nihongo’, ‘New Complete Master’, and news etc. as well as original materials and homework assignments.
Conversations are all in Japanese with English used for grammar explanation.

Hideo-sensei’s Japanese lessons are highly effective and tailored to each student’s needs. I have been taking weekly lessons for a little while, and Hideo-sensei continues to guide me and is patient with my questions, of which there are many. This time we even went beyond the 60-minute slot I had booked, and continued for another 30 minutes free of charge. I am learning and understanding grammatical concepts that have long eluded me, and I feel like I will develop a strong fundamental understanding of the Japanese language by continuing my weekly sessions with Hideo-sensei. A very kind and patient teacher who prepares and tailors my lessons for my individual needs.
