I worked as an IELTS examiner in many different countries including China. I also worked for the British Council's exams department, as a teacher trainer and as a corporate trainer.

2.我跟很多外教打交道，Joe是第一个让我觉得，有外教老师是真的明白我们中国学生的语言学习方式的弊端的，也是真的很用心的帮助我们调整和解决问题的老师。

I had a trial lesson with Joe today. He was amazingly helpful and knowledgeable. He knows exactly what he's doing as a teacher and he gave very detailed, personalized feedback on my IELTS essay. I've already booked an actual one-hour lesson with him. If you're looking for a seasoned teacher and a real ex-IELTS examiner, JOE IS THE ONE.

Joe helped me greatly before my IELTS exam. Instead of same old tips and tricks, he reminded me that the purpose of the exam is the way to assess communication in English, therefore it would be better to avoid anything that makes me hard to understand -- such as trying to include complex words I actually don't know... I wish I met him way earlier in the process.

I spent 8 hours in Joe’s classes. He’s a fantastic teacher. I practised IELTS with him, especially the speaking and writing part. Joe asked your plans and prepared well before classes. He would send you the materials you need in advance. As a former IELTS examiner, he gave really useful advices, such as the structure and the words. He pointed out my mistakes both in grammar and vocabulary, and told me how to improve them. He encouraged me a lot. Highly recommend Joe if you are preparing for the IELTS.

I had a class with Joe and it was conducted like a mini mock test. Joe, as a former IELTS examiner, gave me comments on how I should approach my target scores. He also sent me a message outlining how the lessons would be structured if I decide to take more sessions. Since he used to be an examiner, I found him very reliable, and it helped me understand my weak areas more clearly.
