My name is Jenni and I have a passion for teaching languages. I believe that everyone can learn a second language regardless of age, background and previous learning experiences. I have taught a wide range of ages and learners, from nursery through to elderly and can adapt my lessons for the strengths and interests of the individual learner.
Outside of teaching I love travelling, reading, watching TV shows and movies, catching up with friends over a coffee and going for walks in nature.Che tipo di insegnante sono
I developed an interest in teaching during my year abroad where I taught English to young people in Germany. Since then I have obtained a Postgraduate Degree in Secondary Education (French and German) taught in care homes, nurseries provided tuition for secondary school age students. Having also studied Spanish at university I now work for Kidslingo, delivering fun Spanish classes in nurseries and primary schools. I continue to provide tuition for secondary students sitting exams in French, German and Spanish and have helped many boost their grades and achieve success. I adapt lessons to suit the student's learning style and focus, including vocabulary and/or grammar lessons or conversation classes to boost speaking skills and develop fluency. I use a variety of tools to teach my students including flashcards, pre-recorded listenings, and whiteboards. I aim to make the lesson as enjoyable as possible- language learning should be fun! I can add in games which can help students learn vocabulary, practise speaking and understand grammar. I also provide homework to help reinforce what was taught during the session.Il mio materiale didattico

I had an excellent lesson with Jenni! She is engaging, bubbly, asks thoughtful questions and makes the conversation flow so naturally. Amazing experience. What I really liked about the lesson was listening to Jenni’s accent as well. It’s so nice and interesting to listen to. Thank you Jenni! Looking forward to next classes!

Jenni is a friendly, understanding, patient, easy-going and trustworthy mentor. We talked a lot about various things related to Europe. This was truly wonderful. I really enjoyed our conversations and hope to see her soon.😊
