こんにちは! My name is Tomoko. I am a certified Japanese tutor and a native speaker living in Canada with my family and our dog. I love meeting people from all over the world and learning about their cultures and languages. I encourage my students to share their own cultures during lessons because language learning is also about understanding each other.
I have traveled to many countries like Australia, Thailand, Malaysia, the USA, Cuba, and Indonesia, and I’m excited to explore more places with my students’ stories.Che tipo di insegnante sono
I majored in Japanese language at university and have been teaching Japanese online since 2020. Because I have studied English and Spanish myself, I understand how challenging learning a new language can be, and I am patient and supportive with all my students.
I create a relaxed, friendly environment where making mistakes is welcomed — it’s the best way to learn and grow! I also prepare clear explanations and use original materials to make grammar easy and fun.
