Hi! I’m Yuko. I’m a native Japanese tutor living in Tokyo 🗼 I’ve worked as a Japanese web editor/writer for 10+ years ✨ I studied in California for four years, majoring in liberal arts and ethnomusicology, exploring language, culture, and music 📚🎵 I love traveling and meeting people worldwide 🌎 I’ve visited Vietnam, China, the UK, France, Switzerland, and more. Had a very informative class on particles (に、と 、が、はetc) where we discussed the unusual applications of some of the particles in specific instances and revised the conjugation rules for な- and い-adjectives.

昨日は、日本やアメリカの永住について話しました。処理するのに時間はかかるものの、アメリカは待たずにすぐ申請できることは知らなかったです。それで学費も安くなるなら、申請する人は多いでしょうね。 お時間をいただき、ありがとうございました！

We had in-depth discussions on the cultural differences surrounding the use of contracts (employment, real estate et cetera) in Japan and other countries. Also got to revise verb conjugations like 〜られる. Had great fun and am looking forward to my next lesson as usual!
