Russell

I had my first English lesson with Russell, and it was a great experience. He is kind, friendly, and very easy to talk to, which made me feel comfortable right away. We spent time getting to know each other, and he helped me practice my speaking skills in a relaxed and encouraging way. His positive feedback was very motivating, and I appreciate his patience and support.

He has extensive knowledge of the U.S. and knows a lot about American culture. He is diligent, listens carefully, and tries to help improve my English. I really enjoy having conversations with him. He cares about my goals and situation, so I'm looking forward to our lessons together.

Russell was interesting to talk with. At first we talked about his journey of migration and his new house. I was sorry for him that he doesn't have a orchard any more. Then we talked about my coffee addiction. He gave me some advice and his tips of keeping health. He also taught me the differences between chopped ice and ice cubes, over the counter and prescribed medicines, supplies and utilities, etc. At the end we talked a little about COVID and beer. He doesn't drink beer but think bear drinking habit is likely an acquired taste. As for COVID, he provided me another angle of its source. It's really interesting and helpful.

Russell is very responsible, friendly and easy-going. He actually prepared some interview questions that I find very useful. It’s really nice to talk to him! Cheers mate!
