Hi! I’m Tanner, a teacher, stand-up comedian (on instagram: tannerscomedy), public speaker, and language learner with a master’s in linguistics, ESL certifications (TESOL/TEFL), and I've taught since 2015 - wow that's almost more than 10 years now and I love it. That's my longest, most committed relationship! Don't tell my wife...
I specialize in helping learners (B1–C2) speak more confidently and comfortably.
Expect lessons that are: conversation-based, interesting, and always tailored to your goals (school, business, travel, presentations, revenge, etc.)

I personalize my lessons as much as possible. I want to give you the opportunity to improve your English quickly and help you use newly learned information as quick as possible in the real world.

My lessons almost always consist of:
1. A warmup activity: usually discussing related topics, news, etc. using pictures or discussion questions.
2. Vocabulary
3. Reading, listening to, or watching something
4. We check to make sure you understand everything important.
5. Deeper discussion.
6.Homework (optional)
7.Review mistakes and corrections that I have saved for the end of the lesson.
8. We schedule our next lesson and say goodbye! =)

Tanner is a great teacher. I had my first lesson with him, and I really liked both the lesson and the material he prepared. I would say it was a very helpful and productive session. I really recommend him if you want to improve your English.

I really enjoy my lessons with Tanner. He runs the classes in a very engaging, fun and interesting way. The materials are always well-chosen and thought-provoking, which makes each lesson feel fresh and motivating. I also really appreciate the detailed feedback I receive after every class. It helps me understand my mistakes and improve much faster. Truly an excellent learning experience!
