Hello! My name is Patrick. I'm an online English tutor and native English speaker. I have been teaching English for over 3 years now, both online and in person.
I come from a city called Newcastle, which is in the north of the United Kingdom, close to the Scottish border. I qualified as an English tutor in 2022 in Florence, Italy. From then I have had a range of experiences with students from all around the world, for example Italy, China, Saudi Arabia, Russia and more!
I'm B2 in Italian, so if you speak the language we can very easily translate certain things. I'm also A1 in German, but I'm still very new to the language. I look forward to talking with you soon!Che tipo di insegnante sono
I am a very flexible and open-minded teacher. I specialise in conversational English, but I can teach a variety of subjects, for example professional and business English. We can do whatever you want, however you want!
If you require more focused, systematic learning, I am able to do that with you as well. I have taught students of a variety of levels, from the very start at A1 to more advanced C1 and fluent speakers. As you start to get more comfortable with grammar, verb variety etc, we can start increasing difficulty and speed of conversation. For me, the most important thing is creating a positive and comfortable space. I believe that a happy student will learn a lot better and faster than an unhappy one, so I try to bring positive vibes in every lesson!
With my history degree, I am able to talk and teach about a lot of different topics, from more simply things that you would learn in a classroom, to more complicated political, economic and social issues.
As I said before, I'm very flexible in this sense and open to a variety to topics and challenges. I can't wait to learn more about you and your own culture and discuss it with you!Il mio materiale didattico
