Hi! I’m a native Russian speaker and an experienced teacher of Russian conversation and Italian for beginners. With a background in writing and editing, I have a deep love for language and storytelling. I also speak English and French and am currently learning Turkish.
Beyond languages, I’m passionate about music (I studied academic vocal), literature, and philosophy. I host a podcast about inspiring women and love discussing psychology, history, and travel. I also have a skipper license—sailing is one of my true joys!

Мне нравится учить языки, и я восхищаюсь теми, кто набирается смелости и начинает учить какой-то новый язык с нуля. Я думаю, что изучая язык, мы расширяем рамки своего восприятия, учимся думать по-новому, учимся понимать других людей, узнаем, как живут другие и понимаем, что и мы можем думать, действовать, чувствовать, жить по-другому.

Alisa is a very kind and motivating teacher. She was determined to keep speaking Russian to me, even when I tried to speak to English. This was helpful and I was able to learn additional vocabulary. She’s very patient and provides feedback in an effective and encouraging way.
